There's a Hole in My Guitar by Matt Simpkins
arranged by Toby Bull, Adrian Johnson, Matt Simpkins & Mark Turnbull

There's a hole in my guitar!
How did that get there?
Well, I must admit I can't remember straight.

There's a graze across my fist.
How did that get there?
Well, I must admit I have been punching walls.

I thought drink was advantageous
'Cause it makes my quite courageous!

Forgive me for my fumblings,
I'm just a naughty boy,
All my drunken stumblings,
and for making lots of noise,
LOVELY NOISE!

There's a bottle in my hand,
How did that get there?
Well, I must admit I like to sink a few.

If you'd rather I weren't frisky,
Keep me from that Paddy whisky!

Forgive me for my fumblings,
I'm just a naughty boy,
All my drunken stumblings,
And for making lots of noise,
LOVELY NOISE!

There's a skin head in my face.
How did he get there?
Well, I must admit he clearly wants my blood.

Yes, I know that he could kill me,
But in this state that only thrills me!

Come on and kill me!

Adrian: Electric guitar
Mark: Drums
Matt: Lead vocal and acoustic guitar
Toby: Bass

Take 3 - recorded live in February 2005 in Mercury Theatre rehearsal room one, two floors above Vinny's Cafe while a bunch of workmen made a racket down stairs. They couldn't compete.
